Five things I bought from Romwe for £50.

Surprise, surprise. Another haul straight after payday. I thought I was going to be good this month and not buy anything but then Romwe got me good and proper. I was on there looking for a dress for my friend’s wedding which is coming up in two weeks time but ended up stumbling across a few things that I wanted. I ended up with about ten tabs open but decided that my bank account would hate me if I bought everything. #notspons. #wishitwas.

So, here goes! The first time you order with Romwe, you get 60% off so that’s how I got everything so cheap.

  1. Boat Neckline Tie Detail Top with Denim Skirt, £14.27.

Romwe does something which I don’t think I’ve ever seen a retailer do in that they sell full outfits as part of their products. I saw this and thought that it surely wasn’t true and that you only got the top or only got the skirt but I was wrong – you get the whole package. With summer fast approaching (although it is hammering down with rain as I write this) I thought this would be the perfect look. Also, I love red. Best colour. Ever.

2. Khaki Corduroy Overall Dress with Pocket, £6.34.

As you may have guessed from my boohoo haul, I love these overall dresses. They go with so much and add just a little bit of style to the outfit, no matter what you’re wearing underneath. I also have fallen in love with this colour, even if it is more of an autumnal colour than summer – this will still look cute with a vest and sandals.

3. Black Flower Embroidered Velvet Cami Dress, £10.30.

This is the dress that I bought for the evening do at my friend’s wedding. I initially wanted it for the actual ceremony itself but my sister reminded me that it looked more like a dress you would wear to a funeral than a wedding. So I went with the lighter option below but I still love this dress. It’s fitted, it’s stylish and I’ve wanted something with embroidered roses on it ever since the trend started.

4. Red V Neck Ruffle Sleeve Self-Tie Dress, £12.68.

This is the dress that I’ve settled on for the wedding. The girl who is  getting married is one of my closest friends so I am quite excited for her wedding – and I wanted to look the part. But I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been looking for a dress for months! I have tried on so many, I feel like I’m the one getting married! I’m not really a dress-y person in terms of events. I’d normally go for an overall dress and a nice shirt or something paired with a skirt so I am a bit of a novice at dress shopping. But I think this one is perfect and I can’t wait to wear it.

5. Choker V-Cut Tiger Print Tee Dress, £7.13.

Last but certainly not least – this dress. Similarly to the embroidered rose trend, I’ve wanted one of these choker tops since they started popping up all over the place. However, I didn’t like most of the ones that I saw as they had skulls or dodgy bands on them and I’m not about that life. But I love tigers and this one is perfect! It reminds me of a jumper that I used to have when I was doing my GCSE’s which had an obnoxiously big tiger face on it. Loved it. The pop of colour is gorgeous, too.

So, there you have it! I’ll let you know how these clothes fit as I’ve never personally ordered anything from Romwe before. My mum bought me a dinosaur jumper from there once but I’ve never worn dresses from there – so we will have to see!

What was your favourite purchase? Would you buy any of these things? Let me know in the comments below.

Morgie out.
