Hey guys! I haven’t done one of these posts before but I’ve recently bought a few things that I’ve never tried before and I thought I would do a little post about them. I’ve been meaning to try Wet N Wild as a brand for so long and I eventually plan to do a post on the brand as a whole with their foundations and bronzers etc as I’ve heard really good things. But, of course, being in the UK – I have to order it online which adds up the cost a bit so I’m not sure when I’ll be doing this. Let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in seeing this!
Let’s get down to it.
- L’Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara in Mega Volume.
Now, I have my own opinions about L’Oreal as a brand but they’re the only drugstore brand of mascara that doesn’t affect my eyes. I’m allergic to a bunch of mascaras and L’Oreal’s general formula seems to work well for me and doesn’t make my eyes itch or water. I’m really impressed with this mascara – you can see from the wand that there’s a really odd shape to it but this makes it easy for it to get right into the base of your lashes to curl them. It does as it says on the tin and makes them super volumised, too, but not clumpy! I’d give it an 8/10.
2. L’Oreal Lip Paint Matte in Nude On Fleek.
First of all, I just love the packaging of these lipsticks. They are so beautiful and soft. I’ve already tried this one before in the shade Nudeist which is a cool toned purple and I love it but this one definitely trumps it. It’s very subtle but it lasts a lot longer than the other one. I’m assuming it’s because the colour involves a different formula but I’m really impressed with it. I’m definitely going to be adding a few more of these to my collection!
3. Wet N Wild Catsuit Liquid Lipstick in Give Me Mocha.
As I said above, I’ve never tried Wet N Wild products before but I had heard good things about their foundations and their bronzers. I hadn’t heard much about their liquid lipsticks but this colour just spoke to me. As you can see from the swatch, it’s a lot more transparent than the L’Oreal formula and does require a few more swipes to make it fully pigmented but it has a really good staying power. I wore it all day with drinking and eating and I didn’t need to reapply. It is quite dry whereas the L’Oreal one isn’t so I wouldn’t be able to wear it every day but I do love it. Also, the colour is just gorgeous.
So, there you have it! Only a little post today but I hope you guys enjoyed it. What products would you like me to review next? Let me know in the comments below.
