Hey guys! Welcome back to another makeup tutorial. I am so excited for this one as it is the next in my Disney series. So far, I have done Elsa and Snow White so click the links if you want to see them but if not then just want and see how I got this look! This is one of my more experimental looks and I am seriously loving having the chance to explore this side of makeup and I hope you guys like it!
Let’s get down to it.
First, you want to make your skin as bronzed and healthy looking as possible. For this, I used my normal primer routine which is the Nivea Moisturiser and then the Urban Decay Optical Illusion Primer – see my review of this primer here. I then took my Maybelline Fit Me foundation in 120 because this is the tiniest bit too dark/orange for me so it gave the right effect. I buffed it in using my Real Techniques beauty blender.
Fill in your brows with a dark brown eyeshadow. The effect I really wanted to create was fluffy so what I did was filled in my brows using the darkest brown shade in the Light & Shade palette by Makeup Revolution. I made sure that it had a really defined arch and then on the tail, I flicked it out to make it look more fluffy. If you have naturally thick brows then you can probable skip this step and just brush them out a bit more so they’re fluffier. Conceal underneath if you want to go the whole hog.
This is my favourite part of the whole look – the eyes. I took the bronzer shade from the Tanya Burr Cosmetics peachy palette and I placed this all over my lid and slightly above the crease. If you can, wing it out. We’re going for a really big doe-like (obviously!) look so we’re going to do everything we can to make our eyes as big as possible. This is the part where you’re going to need to have a steady hand. I took my Nyx Jumbo pencil in Milk and I ran it up the inner corner of my eye and around the edge of where I placed the shadow. I then took my finger and blended it down my nose slightly and across my lid. I then applied the pencil in my lower waterline. Apply mascara – use anything that makes them big and bold.
Like I said earlier, we want this look to be super bronzey so I took my Hoole Lite Bronzer and I applied it all over my cheeks, higher than I normally would and across my temples and my hair line. I then ran it across my nose to make it super bronzed, too. I literally never get the chance to use this highlighter shade because I’m naturally quite pale but I took the darkest bronze shade in the Sophdoesnails x Makeup Revolution highlighter palette and ran it across my cheek bones and on the tip of my nose. I also took the Nyx Jumbo pencil again on a detail brush to create little white freckles. This worked so well and looked super cute!
Finally, the lips! Keeping with the bronzed theme, I took my Spectaculips Liquid Lipstick in Bronzed Girl and applied it all over my lips. Go carefully with this because it’s such a bold colour, it can be easy to mess up.
So, there you have it! Did you guys like this look? Who would you like me to do next? Let me know in the comments below!
