The BEST Liquid Lipstick I’ve Used?! – Barry M Lip Paint Review. 💋

Hey guys! So you guys may or may not know from my blog that I am literally a lipstick addict. I may have to do a collection post soon – let me know in the comments if you’d like to see that! – but I’ve just added the Barry M Lip Paint in So Chic to my collection and it deserved its’ own post. I love liquid lipsticks and while there are some that are definitely my favourites, there’s not been one that I’ve thought is my ‘holy grail’ lipstick. So, I’ve been trying new ones.

I’m doing a series each month on my blog of either buying a high end product and reviewing it or I’m going to buy a selection of new drugstore makeup products and give you guys my review of it. So, Barry M lip paints have been around for quite a long time but this shade is brand spanking new. I’m a sucker for brown lipsticks – my favourite is from Soap & Glory and I reviewed it here. So when I saw this shade, I was so excited. It’s only £6, too, which is really good. It comes with a lip liner which I wasn’t too fussed about. I think this is supposed to be a dupe of the Kylie Jenner lipkits but I’ve never tried one so I can’t say for certain.

The consistency is so liquidy. I was really shocked. There’s never been a liquid lipstick I’ve used that is properly liquid, if you tipped the bottle, it would definitely come pouring out. This initially put me off but wow, it made it so easy to apply. It just moved so seamlessly across my lips and made for a really nice application. It also really helped with overlining? Which is something I really like to do with my lips but because it was so easy to apply, it was so simple to drag under or over your lips. I don’t know if I’m making any sense but! I might have to do an updated big lips tutorial – here is my current one.

This is what it looks like and I am seriously in love. I think I’m going to have to buy some more shades because this one looks so rich and yet completely matte. I’ve never seen such a matte lipstick. But at the same time, it doesn’t look drying on your lips. That’s the best part, too – it’s not drying on your lips at all. It’s the most comfortable lipstick I’ve ever had, you don’t even know that you’re wearing a lipstick which is goals.

It lasts. All. Day.

I’m not kidding – I wore this eating three meals, drinking 10000 cups of tea and talking all day and it didn’t budge at all. I cannot recommend this lipstick enough – I think I’ve found my holy grail lipstick. So, Barry M can definitely matte me up. See what I did there? 😉

So, there you have it! Do you guys like this lipstick? Let me know in the comments below! Also let me know if there are any products you would like me to review in the future as I love doing posts like this.

Morgie out.

Ooh I didnt realise Barry M did lip kits too! I’m going completely cruelty free on my blog and I think they are on the list, so will have to give them a go. Do they have it in gloss? Xx

I think they do have some glosses but I’m not sure if they’re on the same lipkits. xx
