Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Review – is it worth the hype? 🌼

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. I hope you had a great weekend! So, I keep meaning to do a full post of what I got for my birthday but I think the post would be too long – not because I’m like Dudley and got tonnes of presents. But because I have so much to say about them that I decided to do a post each about them!

I was so blessed to receive such lovely presents from my family and friends. And I’m guessing you guys know by the title what I’m going to be talking about – Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream.

Let me tell you guys now – it is a dream.

Every time I go into Boots or Debenhams, I’ve always veered over towards this perfume simply due to the beautiful package design. I always feel a bit cheeky trying them out if I actually have no intention of buying it. But then my sister convinced me and I tried it and absolutely fell in love.

The smell is just stunning. It’s floral, it’s sweet, it’s fragrant. Since I’ve had it – thanks Mum! – I’ve had so many compliments on how good I’ve smelled because of it. Not only that, but it’s so long lasting. I was originally just going to wear it for special occasions because I didn’t want it to go away too quickly. But then I fell in love with it so I’ve been wearing it pretty much everyday unless I’m just mooching about the house. So, for reference, for a typical work day, I put it on at about 7.15am and by the time I get home at 5pm, I can still smell it. Not as strongly, obviously, but it’s there.

Honestly, if you’re like me and you’re put off by the price tag but you feel like treating yourself – just do it! I’m so pleased with it and I know that when my bottle runs out, I’ll be buying a new one to make up for it. We liked it so much that we bought it for my nan, too, for her 90th. She loves it, too! I love the fact that now, that fragrance is also going to remind me of her whenever I smell it. I think perfumes really can evoke memories within you so they’re perfect if you find the right scent for yourself. My sister uses Narcissco and my Mum uses j’Adore and both of those smells remind me of them.

It’s so much more than a perfume! And I absolutely love it.

What perfume is your favourite? Have you tried any of the Marc Jacobs range? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy belated birthday! I really like the design of the Daisy Dream. It’s cute, and glad it smells nice too. It’s always nice when you can still smell the fragrance at the end of the day! Sometimes, you have to spend a bit in the name of investment. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
