Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. Now, I know that this is a bit late coming because the Disney collaboration with Colourpop has been out forever but I’ve only just got around to buying it – I didn’t fancy the customs and shipping charges from the US so I bought it on Depop from a trusted seller. But what did I buy? Well, if you’ve read the title then you already know I bought the Cinderella edition of the Disney Designer Collection and wow, wow, wow. Is it blogger goals or what?
Just look at it! It’s everything you want in a flatlay and the fact that it’s Disney makes it even better. I’ve never tried Colourpop before simply due to the lack of it being easily accessible in the UK – I really hope one day they fully move over here, too, because I want to try so many of their products and in reality, they are affordable! Just not when you’ve got a whacking great customs fee atop of it.
So when they launched this collection, I knew I wanted something but I didn’t know what! Really, I wanted all of them but at £200, my bank account was screaming NOOOOOOO at me. So I scoured the internet and found the Cinderella one on Depop (if you guys are considering buying anything Colourpop then I recommend a trusted seller from Depop, there’s loads there!) I ordered it instantly and was pretty much sat waiting by the door for it to arrive – I was so excited!
So, what’s in it?
Super Shock Shadow in So This Is Love
Aside from their liquid lipsticks, the super shock shadows are what I link Colourpop to in my mind. I’ve heard so much good things about them. But – despite the fact I buy a lot of palettes – not much ever seems to convince me to buy a single shadow unless it’s a really specific colour that I need. I’ve just never felt the need to so I was a bit apprehensive about whether I would actually use them and whether they would be worth it but wow. Did Colourpop prove me wrong? Yep! This is hands down the creamiest, nicest eyeshadow formula I have ever used. It’s soft, it’s literally like a cream and it blends like a dream (did you like my little poem?). The colour pay off is amazing, it looks lovely as a highlight and everything about it is stunning. I have been wearing it a lot recently and I will definitely be using it in a future makeup look so keep your eye out for that!
Ultra Glossy Lipgloss in Bibbidi
I have a life update. I’ve become a lipgloss girl. I never thought it was going to happen either but it’s happened – I have been wearing lipgloss every day this week. The first one I’ll be showing in another review at some point on this blog but the second is this gorgeous ultra glossy lip. As with the rest of this collection, the packaging is just stunning and so lovely to take pictures of – it’s definitely the prettiest collection that I own. But I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about the formula – I’d heard good things about their lipglosses but I’ve never really been a fan of lipglosses in general. But then I tried this formula and it changed my mind completely. It’s totally not sticky, long lasting and it gives your lips such a beautiful look to them. They’re glossy but it’s like there’s a sheen over them, too? I can’t describe it! It’s just amazing – the most beautiful gloss I have ever worn, hands down. So comfortable to wear, too. I’ll be doing a video using this collection so make sure you’re subscribed to my Youtube channel (linked below) so that you can see how it looks.
Creme Lux Lipstick in Cinderella
Finally, we have this beautiful lipstick. If you guys have been following this blog for a while then you’ll know that I’m not the biggest fan of pink lipsticks – they just don’t suit my skin tone or my hair and I’ve never reached for them unless I’m doing a specific look for a character or something like that. So when I saw that this was quite a bright pink, I was a bit disappointed. But then I put it on and it’s so much more subtle than it looks – you can build the colour payoff up to make it even bolder but I was just wearing it as a light colour and it’s so beautiful. If you like pink lipsticks, this is definitely one for you. As for the formula, it literally feels like you have nothing on your lips. It’s soft and creamy and it doesn’t transfer too much. I feel like bullet lipsticks never last for that long on your lips anyway so this one stays for a while in comparison to the others that I’ve used. Again, I’ll show you guys pictures when I use these in a video so make sure you stay tuned for that!
What do you guys think? Have you tried these? Will you? Let me know in the comments below so that I can chat to you guys and get to know you better!
